Responsibilities
- Accurately process and submit medical claims to insurance companies
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits using electronic verification systems
- Manage denial resolution and appeals with insurance payers
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate documentation
- Generate monthly revenue cycle reports for leadership review
- Train on emerging billing technologies and coding updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a US healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Proficiency in Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar EHR systems
- Expert knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Strong analytical skills for claim denial analysis
