Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Process insurance claims and verify patient eligibility
- Maintain precise inventory management and stock rotation
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Operate pharmacy technology including dispensing systems and EMRs
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and DEA regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Minimum 1 year retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficient in pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
- Basic knowledge of pharmacology and drug interactions
