Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions for assigned patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient information, observations, and care actions in electronic health records
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions, medications, and self-care
- Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process enhancement projects
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact license)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years of experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience in acute care setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred for specialty units)
- Strong assessment skills with ability to recognize patient changes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in electronic medical documentation systems
