Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor patient conditions and document assessments in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control practices
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Massachusetts (or compact state with quick reciprocity)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience (critical care, emergency, or med-surg)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
