Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with evidence-based practices and established protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations with precision and documentation accuracy
- Monitor patient vitals and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management, discharge planning, and preventive care
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems to maintain comprehensive patient documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to strict infection control standards
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license (or compact license eligibility)
- Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN strongly preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience in acute care settings
- BLS/CPR certification through American Heart Association
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience highly valued)
- Exceptional critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated cultural competence
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
