Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and compliance.
- Monitor patient vitals and conditions, documenting all changes accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide compassionate patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate life-saving protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States (TN or NC preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience (New graduates with BSN are encouraged to apply).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
- Computer literacy and proficiency with electronic medical records.
