Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in assigned specialty unit (ICU/ER/Surgery/Oncology)
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and monitor vital signs
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive treatment
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Document clinical observations and interventions in EMR system
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience accepted
- ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications (unit-specific)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in specialty area
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends/holidays
