Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, sterile fields, and surgical equipment according to procedure protocols
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and sterile supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce safety standards throughout surgical cases
- Manage surgical inventory, equipment sterilization, and supply restocking
- Document procedural activities accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with anesthesia, nursing, and sterile processing teams
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 1 year of recent OR experience preferred
- Knowledge of sterile processing and surgical instrumentation
- Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- BLS certification required
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
