Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by setting up sterile fields and equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce aseptic techniques
- Count surgical instruments and supplies pre/post-procedure
- Transport patients and position them for surgery
- sterilize and maintain surgical equipment
- Document procedures and inventory accurately
Qualifications
- Accredited Surgical Technology program graduate
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
- Minimum 2 years OR experience
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Ability to work in fast-paced surgical environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Current BLS certification
