Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings including ICU, ER, and specialty units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assess patient conditions accurately and respond to emergency situations with precision
- Maintain detailed medical documentation ensuring compliance with JCAHO and facility standards
- Provide education to patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Adhere to all infection control protocols and safety regulations
- Participate in orientation and onboarding processes for new assignments
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New York State or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional certifications per unit preferred
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Valid US passport and ability to pass comprehensive background checks
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
