Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop treatment plans
- Document patient encounters accurately in EHR systems
- Provide clear communication to patients and families about care pathways
- Monitor vital signs and detect subtle changes in patient condition
- Coordinate with ancillary departments for seamless care transitions
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and JCAHO standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 3 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Epic or similar EHR platforms
- Strong ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
