Responsibilities
- Assess incoming patient calls using standardized protocols and clinical judgment
- Triage patients based on acuity levels and prioritize emergency responses
- Document assessments accurately in EHR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff for seamless care coordination
- Provide clear, compassionate guidance to patients and families during critical moments
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives for triage protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California with minimum 3 years clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications with current renewal dates
- Proven expertise in emergency triage and urgent care assessment
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Mastery of EHR systems (Epic preferred) and telehealth platforms
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to maintain composure during high-pressure situations
