Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and prioritize medical care based on urgency and acuity
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR)
- Provide initial interventions and treatments per established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to coordinate patient care pathways
- Educate patients on health conditions and preventive care measures
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Current California RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience, with 1+ years in triage or emergency setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
