Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for 2026 technology roadmap, forecasting market trends and emerging disruptions
- Architect cross-functional innovation projects spanning AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Partner with C-suite executives to align tech initiatives with business objectives and investor expectations
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning to maintain first-mover advantage
- Drive R&D investments in breakthrough technologies with 5+ year commercialization horizons
- Mentor cross-disciplinary teams to foster a culture of experimentation and rapid prototyping
- Represent company at global tech forums and publish thought leadership on future tech paradigms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ years in emerging technologies or futures research
- Proven track record of launching at least two market-defining tech products
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with executive presence
- Published author or keynote speaker at major tech conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology forecasting and implementation
