Responsibilities

- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps with clear milestones and KPIs
- Partner with product teams to translate technological capabilities into market-leading solutions
- Analyze competitive landscapes and regulatory impacts on future tech deployment
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Build and manage a network of technology innovators and research partners
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy or R&D leadership roles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum computing, AI, blockchain, biotech)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year tech roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Strong presentation skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Experience managing technology budgets exceeding $10M annually
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
