Responsibilities
- Develop 3-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 market impact
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Establish KPIs for measuring innovation ROI and adoption readiness
- Drive ethical AI frameworks and sustainable technology standards
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record of scaling tech initiatives from concept to market
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Experience with agile methodologies and lean startup principles
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
