Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with market potential by 2026
- Develop long-term technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and industry disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify innovation opportunities and assess competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments
- Build and maintain relationships with venture capitalists, startups, and academic research institutions
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory trends affecting technology adoption
- Author quarterly technology trend briefs for executive leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and implementing future-focused initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills with data interpretation expertise
- Experience developing strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 or high-growth tech firms
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
