Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop and maintain the company's 5-year innovation roadmap aligned with strategic objectives
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI governance, and green tech
- Present technology briefings to C-suite and board members on emerging opportunities and risks
- Establish partnerships with leading research institutions and technology incubators
- Manage innovation budget allocation for prototype development and pilot programs
- Monitor ethical implications and societal impact of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech, or biotech
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi analysis, scenario planning)
- Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and executive domains
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or future studies
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/Java preferred)
