Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy aligned with business growth targets
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, decentralized AI)
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI implementation and sustainable tech adoption
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with quarterly ROI assessments
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for R&D collaboration
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, Web3, AGI, bioinformatics)
- Proven track record of executing multi-year technology roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business/Technology MBA
- Strong understanding of ethical AI frameworks and sustainability tech principles
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Professional certifications in emerging tech (e.g., AWS Quantum, Google AI Ethics) preferred
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $3M annually
