Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market predictions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping disruptive tech solutions
- Conduct scenario planning for emerging technologies (quantum, bio-AI, neurointerfaces)
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members
- Manage $15M innovation portfolio with ROI-focused KPIs
- Author white papers on future tech ethics and governance frameworks
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in launching at least two breakthrough tech products
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (or equivalent experience)
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($5M+)
- Fluency in future forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Security clearance (Top Secret) preferred
