Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing and neural interface systems
- Lead cross-functional task forces on AI governance frameworks and ethical algorithm design
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members with data-driven ROI projections
- Partner with venture capital arms to scout and acquire transformative startups
- Establish industry-wide standards through white papers and conference leadership
- Manage $50M+ R&D budget with quarterly strategic pivot reviews
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent with published research in Nature/Science
- Proven track record of scaling tech initiatives from concept to market leadership
- Deep expertise in ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation practices
- Executive experience in Fortune 500 tech or unicorn-scale startups
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, and international research consortiums
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, C++, Rust preferred)
- Published author in technology ethics or future studies
