Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging tech including AI/ML, blockchain, and IoT
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape assessments
- Manage innovation incubators and startup partnerships
- Present strategic briefings to executive stakeholders and investors
- Drive sustainability initiatives in tech development cycles
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-tech integration
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI, quantum computing, AR/VR, or bio-tech
- Certification in Strategic Innovation Management (SIM) or equivalent
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Experience managing multi-million dollar tech budgets
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or conferences
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science/Engineering preferred
