Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ innovation roadmaps using scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Architect cross-functional innovation labs bridging AI, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and Board of Directors
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation team of futurists and technologists
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation ecosystems
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through pilot programs and rapid prototyping
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology leadership
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives within enterprise environments
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Portfolio demonstrating successful futurist projects or published foresight work
- Experience with agile innovation methodologies and rapid prototyping
