- Author strategic foresight reports and scenario planning documents for board presentations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs for R&D collaboration
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic factors affecting technological adoption in 2026
- Mentor junior strategists and build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Strategic Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in innovation strategy or technology foresight at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (peer-reviewed journals)
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Proficiency in foresight software tools (e.g., Delphi, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization from concept to market
