Responsibilities
- Forecast technology, societal, and market trends through horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ product innovation and market disruption
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate foresight into corporate strategy and R&D priorities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and validate future opportunities
- Produce trend reports and whitepapers on emerging paradigms (AI ethics, quantum computing, etc.)
- Advise on venture investments and partnerships in emerging tech sectors
- Maintain a global network of futurists, scientists, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published work on technological or societal megatrends (e.g., AI, biotech, climate resilience)
- Expertise in trend analysis frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on future-proofing strategies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
