Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for organizational decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps and innovation initiatives
- Present executive-level briefings on emerging risks and opportunities with quantified impact assessments
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Design and implement organizational foresight processes to embed future-readiness into company culture
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry conferences
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proven track record of translating future insights into actionable business strategies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future scenarios to diverse stakeholders
- Experience leading high-impact cross-functional teams and driving organizational change
- Certification in strategic foresight or futures studies preferred
