Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for 3-5 year market evolution
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing principles into development cycles
- Present foresight findings to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Author quarterly trend briefs and annual innovation whitepapers
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints focused on emerging opportunities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Expertise in systems thinking, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Experience with AI ethics, biotech governance, or climate adaptation frameworks
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse technical and non-technical audiences
