Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging tech (AI, quantum, biotech) and socio-economic trends through proprietary foresight methodologies
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ product launches and market entry strategies
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with Fortune 500 partners to deconstruct future uncertainties
- Author white papers and thought leadership on disruptive innovation paradigms
- Build and mentor a team of futurist analysts and technology scouts
- Interface with venture capital arms to identify next-gen acquisition targets
- Design immersive innovation sprints for C-level executives
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology strategy
- Proven track record of developing 5+ year future scenarios with measurable business impact
- Expertise in at least two domains: AI ethics, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Harvard Business Review, MIT Tech Review)
- Proficiency in horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Experience scaling innovation teams from 5 to 50+ members
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ implemented future-proofing initiatives
