Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with market evolution
- Lead R&D initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Collaborate with C-suite to translate futuristic concepts into actionable business strategies
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-driven prototyping and testing cycles
- Present futuristic visions to investors, partners, and industry stakeholders
- Build and lead a team of 15+ specialists in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of launching 3+ breakthrough technologies to market
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, or neurotech
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global tech ecosystems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism (e.g., MIT Tech Review)
