Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to map technological, social, and economic shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and implement strategic innovation frameworks that translate foresight into actionable business initiatives
- Champion future-proofing initiatives across product development, market entry, and operational planning
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder engagement to align leadership on future scenarios
- Establish and manage an innovation pipeline with 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating future-facing solutions
- Author thought leadership publications and industry presentations on emerging futures
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future studies
- Proven track record of translating futuristic insights into commercial success
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transformation initiatives
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences and external stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futures-focused publications
