Responsibilities
- Architect 2026-era tech roadmaps integrating quantum AI and neural interfaces
- Lead cross-functional teams developing next-gen human augmentation systems
- Conduct horizon-scanning research identifying emerging technological paradigms
- Design ethical frameworks for advanced autonomous decision-making systems
- Secure $10M+ R&D funding through visionary whitepapers and investor presentations
- Patent breakthrough innovations in synthetic biology and nanotechnology integration
- Mentor junior researchers in speculative engineering methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Biotechnology (or equivalent breakthrough portfolio)
- 5+ years in R&D leadership with published work in Nature/Science
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and neuromorphic computing
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Deep understanding of ethical AI governance frameworks
- Experience securing federal innovation grants (DARPA, NSF)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026-vision concepts (neural lace, quantum biocomputing)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
