Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under supervision of RN preceptors
- Administer medications and treatments accurately
- Document patient assessments and care plans in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Participate in skills workshops and clinical simulations
- Adhere to Joint Commission and hospital policies
- Develop critical thinking through case studies
- Complete residency curriculum requirements
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
- Active California RN license
- Valid BLS certification
- Passing NCLEX-RN results
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to professional development
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- San Diego residency required
