Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative treatments
- Perform advanced radiography (panoramic, bitewings, and CBCT scans)
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control compliance
- Coordinate patient flow and chairside efficiency
- Execute digital impressions and CAD/CAM workflows
- Maintain precise dental records and HIPAA compliance
- Train new assistants on practice-specific protocols
Qualifications
- CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) or RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) credential required
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general or specialty dentistry
- Advanced knowledge of dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- DEXIS/Radiography certification preferred
- Exceptional manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Strong patient communication and conflict resolution skills
