Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and treatment procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized operatory.
- Perform and process dental radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral photography.
- Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out processes efficiently.
- Monitor patient comfort and provide post-operative instructions.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a general dentistry practice.
- Proficient in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and EMR systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
