Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including implant placements and orthodontic adjustments
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Implement strict sterilization protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Oversee inventory and supply chain for 8+ operatories
- Train new dental assistants on advanced techniques
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize appointment schedules
- Maintain immaculate treatment rooms and equipment
Qualifications
- 3+ years of dental assisting experience in specialty practice
- Certification in expanded functions (EFDA/RDA)
- Expertise in digital impressions and CAD/CAM workflows
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Experience with practice management software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Exceptional communication and chairside manner
