Responsibilities
- Chairside Assistance: Assist the lead dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments with precision and efficiency.
- Patient Care: Greet patients, explain procedures, and ensure a comfortable and stress-free experience.
- Surgical Support: Prepare instruments, mix materials, and provide four-handed dentistry support.
- Radiography: Take accurate dental X-rays and process images using digital technology.
- Hygiene & Maintenance: Perform daily sterilization, disinfection, and setup of operatories.
- Administrative: Manage patient records, handle insurance verification, and process payments.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) license.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a general dentistry setting.
- Skills: Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and modern radiography techniques.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient education.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
