Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including implant placement and orthodontics
- Perform advanced radiography (panoramic, CBCT) and intraoral imaging
- Manage sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance
- Coordinate patient flow and chairside assistance for multi-specialty cases
- Utilize practice management software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- Train new assistants and implement best practices
- Oversee inventory and supply chain optimization
Qualifications
- Current Florida Dental Assistant license and radiography certification
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in specialty practice
- CDA or EFDA certification preferred
- Advanced knowledge of dental materials and procedures
- Exceptional chairside demeanor and patient communication skills
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment
