Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and implant placements
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Perform advanced infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Deliver patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Coordinate treatment planning and insurance verification processes
- Maintain precise dental charting and documentation using EHR systems
Qualifications
- Current Florida Dental Assistant license or DANB certification
- Minimum 3 years experience in general dentistry or specialty practice
- Proficiency in digital imaging (DEXIS, Sirona) and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification with current AHA credentials
- Excellent chairside assisting skills for complex procedures
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
- Exceptional communication and patient rapport abilities
