Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and minor procedures
- Perform vital sign checks and ECGs
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Manage patient flow and maintain accurate medical records
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Collect and process lab specimens
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience as Medical Assistant
- CMA/RMA/Certified EMT certification required
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficient in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, NextGen)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
