Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor vital signs and document client health status in electronic health records
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician instructions
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Implement specialized care plans for clients with chronic conditions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment for clients
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional home health care experience
- Current Georgia Home Health Aide certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficient in electronic health record documentation
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
