Responsibilities
- Provide personalized in-home care including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of medical equipment
- Document patient care progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Comply with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional home health aide experience
- Current Texas HHA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Thorough background check and drug screening required
- Fluency in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
