Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Monitor vital signs and document client progress
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Transport clients to medical appointments
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- 1+ year professional home health aide experience
- Current Louisiana HHA certification
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and empathy skills
- Background check and drug screen clearance
- Spanish fluency preferred (not required)
