Responsibilities
- Process and submit clean claims to insurance companies and government payers
- Deny analysis and appeals management for rejected claims
- Ensure accurate ICD-10 and CPT coding for complex medical cases
- Conduct patient billing inquiries and payment plan negotiations
- Perform regular audits of medical documentation for compliance
- Collaborate with clinical teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in physician or hospital settings
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Expertise in HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Strong analytical skills for complex claim resolution
