Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and prioritize emergency cases using advanced clinical judgment protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care pathways
- Utilize EHR systems to document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
- Provide telehealth triage services to expand access across our network
- Mentor junior triage staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in crisis response planning and disaster management protocols
- Analyze triage metrics to enhance departmental efficiency and patient flow
Qualifications
- Current Minnesota RN license with minimum 3 years emergency department experience
- BLS/ACLS certification with TNCC or ENPC preferred
- Proven expertise in rapid patient assessment and critical care prioritization
- Advanced proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic/Cerner)
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Master's degree in Nursing or relevant specialty certification (CEN, CCRN) highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to maintain composure in high-stress emergency situations
