Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Maintain precise medication inventory control and ordering systems
- Process insurance claims and verify patient eligibility
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Ensure strict compliance with FDA, HIPAA, and pharmacy regulations

Qualifications
- Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license
- PTCB certification or equivalent state credentials
- Minimum 2 years hospital or retail pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and compounding
- Exceptional attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Basic knowledge of sterile compounding (IV room experience preferred)
