Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections with precision and patient comfort
- Process and handle specimens following strict safety protocols
- Verify patient identities and maintain accurate medical records
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including analyzers and centrifuges
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure efficient patient workflow
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and OSHA regulations
- Provide patient education on blood collection procedures
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, AMT, or NCCT)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in phlebotomy
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in specimen processing and handling
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with attention to detail
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
