Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in ICU/Telemetry units with 4:1 patient ratios
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EPIC) documentation
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency interventions
- Precept new staff and contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Adhere to JCAHO and Kentucky Board of Nursing standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kentucky (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU/Telemetry experience
- BSN preferred (ADN accepted with 5+ years experience)
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
- Ability to adapt quickly to new hospital systems
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
