Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings including ICUs, ERs, and surgical units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and monitor vital signs
- Document patient records accurately and maintain compliance with healthcare standards
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatments
- Adhere to hospital protocols and ensure patient safety in all procedures
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (or compact state eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; additional certifications based on unit
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility for 13-week assignments with optional extensions
