Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient information and progress in electronic health records (EHR)
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety regulations, and state nursing standards
- Adapt quickly to new healthcare environments and patient populations
- Maintain sterile conditions and infection control procedures
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with strong experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and relevant specialty certifications required
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
