Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via telehealth and in-person consultations to determine urgency and appropriate care pathways
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate seamless patient transitions and care continuity
- Document complex medical histories using Epic EMR with 100% accuracy within 15-minute windows
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques for high-stress emergency situations
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, EMTALA, and Joint Commission standards
- Lead quality improvement initiatives for triage protocols and patient flow optimization
Qualifications
- Current Minnesota RN license with minimum 3 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN or higher degree from accredited institution preferred
- Exceptional critical thinking skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize complex cases
- Proven expertise in telehealth triage and remote patient assessment
- Strong leadership qualities with experience mentoring new staff
- Fluency in Spanish or other languages highly valued
